Kids4Golf is a non-profit foundation with the aim to introduce the game of golf to children at 8 through 12 and who would normally not get in contact with the golf sport. Kids 4 golf organizes low threshold golf events in public parks and recreational areas, with special golf balls and kids friendly Tee to Green distances. Values such as honesty, respect, teamwork, concentration, politeness, and perseverance are an integral part of the introduction to golf.

Background Details
Kids4Golf was conceived in 2008 by Jules"Hein"vanMarken and is based on a successful U.S. youth program. Supported by the Dutch Golf Federation & PGA


Since its inception over 2000 children been exposed to golf. Over 120 children have received a golf proficiency certificate (G.V.B.) or are involved in a lesson program in Amsterdam, the Hague and Rotterdam and more than 90 have become club members.

-Seek area clubs wishing to increase youth membership.
-Select a suitable public park or recreational area to stage a KIDS4GOLF event
-Recruiting of elementary school children via the public school system.
-Fund raising to cover cost.
- Select PGA Pro's to run the instructional part of the program.
-Select volunteers and trainees to assist with the KIDS4GOLF day.
-Before and after P.R newspaper, house to house publication, magazines and T.V. coverage. Flyers and Posters.
